Terms and conditions for bookings


In the following you will find useful information in connection with the use of online booking. You can read about how we process your entered information, how you receive your receipt in connection with a purchase and much more.

 

Check of rental certificate

On receipt of the rental certificate, it is the tenant’s responsibility to ensure that the period and the selected unit are correct.

 

Prices

We reserve the right to typing errors and changes in prices

 

Payment

All prices stated in the online booking system, like everywhere else on the website, are stated in Danish kroner including VAT and all taxes, unless otherwise stated and clearly stated in the situation in question. Payment takes place by using one of the approved payment/credit cards in the online booking system. A fee is charged according to applicable rules from Nets.

 

Information about trading on the Internet

You can safely shop on the internet through our online booking system. As a consumer, you are basically protected against any misuse of your credit card on the internet, therefore there is no deductible for misuse of your payment card via the internet. You can read more about how you as a consumer should deal with online payments on the following website www.fdih.dk.

 

Shipping and delivery

When booking and paying for a cabin, a place for your own tent, or a place for your own caravan, you will receive a confirmation in which the price for your purchase appears. The contract is sent via e-mail immediately after the purchase, if the correct e-mail address is provided by the buyer.

Delivery of the ordered product takes place upon arrival at Thyborøn Hotel on the day of arrival and is completed upon departure on the day of departure. Both of these times are stated in the above contract. Unused days are not refunded once you have started your holiday and your room cannot be sold on to others during your stay. We strive to deliver what the guest wants, but reserve the right to change any booking made to a specific room/apartment to a room/apartment of a similar standard, otherwise the booking can be considered invalid.

 

Renting room / apartment - rules

  • All rooms/apartments are non-smoking. If the smoking ban is violated, an additional cleaning fee will be charged.
  • Do not play loud music outdoors or with the window open
  • There must be peace in the room/ apartment after 22.00
  • The room/ apartment may only house the number of people the room/ apartment is intended for
  • The tenant is responsible for damage that occurs to the cabin, the furniture or services during the stay and you will be charged an amount equal to the cost of repairing the damage.

 

On departure – room stay

Due to cleaning and in order to prepare for the arrival of new guests, please leave the cabin and clear it, no later than 10.00 on the day of departure.

  • Put furniture in place
  • Close all windows
  • Check if you have forgotten anything in drawers and cupboards

Thyborön Hotel assumes no responsibility for storing and forwarding forgotten items.

 

On departure – apartment stay

Due to cleaning and in order to prepare for the arrival of new guests, please leave the cabin and clear it, no later than 10.00 on the day of departure.

  • Put service and furniture in place, also if in any have moved furniture from one apartment to another
  • Empty the fridge
  • Close all windows
  • Check if you have forgotten anything in drawers and cupboards
  • Place waste in the environmental station in the courtyard behind the reception
  • Towels are collected in a pile on the floor

Thyborön Hotel assumes no responsibility for storing and forwarding forgotten items.

  

Guest’s responsibility

The renter of the room/ apartment is fully liable for the furniture in the rental unit. Deficiencies and damages caused by the tenant are settled upon departure. The person who entered into the lease is also liable for damages caused by other residents and guests in the lease. The rooms / apartment  may be occupied by a maximum of the number of people indicated. People over 18 must be present during the entire stay.

 

Dogs

Dogs are not allowed in the rooms and apartments

WiFi

Guests at the hotel have free Wi-Fi

The code will be given on arrival or will be found in the digital guestbook.

 

The stay includes

  • Swimming pool with water slide, hot water pool, wellness area with sauna and steam bath (1,5 km from the hotel)

               Only morning swim Tuesdays and Thursdays – but open every day in the summer season

 

  • Ball hall for all kinds of ball games, badminton and table tennis (1,5 km from the hotel)

                Only open during the Easter holidays, weeks 27-31 and week 42.

 

  • Indoor playground for children (1,5 km from the hotel)

                Only open during the Easter holidays, weeks 27-31 and week 42.

 

Rules for cancellation of rooms, holiday apartments and stays at Thyborön Hotel

Applies to guests who have booked by contacting Thyborön Hotel's reception directly, by phone or mail.

When canceling a reservation up to 8 days - full refund of room price, however

an administration fee of DKK 100 is charged.

In case of cancellation from 7 to 0 days before arrival - the full amount corresponding to

room rate.

 

Force majeure

Thyborön Hotel is not responsible to the customer for breach of the agreement if

this is due to circumstances beyond the hotel's control, including strike, lockout,

orders/restrictions due to an epidemic/pandemic or (other) circumstances as follows

Danish law can refer to force majeure.

 

Partial use of facilities

The customer is obliged to pay the agreed price, even if certain facilities/benefits there

are included in the hotel stay, for example the swimming pool, the indoor playground, indoor ball fields in “Wärket” etc. cannot be used as a result of repair or maintenance or orders from the authorities. In that situation, the customer is thus not entitled to either cancel or receive one reduction in price.

 

Force majeure

Thyborön Hotel is not responsible to the customer for breach of the agreement if this is due to circumstances beyond the campsite’s control, including strikes, lockouts, orders/restrictions due to an epidemic/pandami or (other) conditions as per Danish right can be attributed to force majeure.

 

Registration of information

When booking, Thyborön Hotel registers your name, your address, your e-mail and other information provided in connection with the purchase in our customer register.

The information is not passed on, but Thyborön Hotel keeps the registration for 5 years. When paying by credit card, registration takes place via a secure server.

 

Complaint processing

If you do not receive your booking confirmation, which confirms your purchase within 24 hours, and you have not received an error message from the system, you can write to the address below or call the phone number.

Complaints regarding the booking process or the product received must be made within a reasonable time after you have seen the error or should have seen the error by looking through your contract.
